That’s His Love

It’s unexplainable,

Yet it’s almost tangible

I can’t touch it but

I feel it deep in my bones.

It’s overwhelming

But still satisfying

It leaves me breathless,

My words could never explain

Or measure up.

To this wonderous,

Reckless,

Kind of love.

It’s unconditional

Extremely merciful,

Kind and gracious

It makes me whole

Fills up my soul.

It’s faithful and just

It’s righteous and Holy

Because of it I overcome.

As it fills up my heart

It heals the inner parts

Restoring my peace and joy.

It calls me back home

When I’m slipping away

And it never leaves me alone.

When I’m in my mess,

In utter distress

It comforts me.

It’s the kind of love

That never disappoints,

That never ceases to amaze me.

The love of God

I could never repay

Still, I’m grateful

He gives it freely.
